New features and improvements

  1. For the LPR IV software module, added the support for the following countries: Iraq, Hong Kong, Macau, Belgium, Luxembourg, Portugal. Increased recognition accuracy for the following groups of countries: China/Hong Kong/Macao, Thailand/Malaysia/Singapore. Added the character recognition of Taiwan. Fixed licensing and compatibility with GPU Ada Lovelace.

  2. For the RR software module, added and improved the recognition of license plates of the following countries: China, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Turkey, Mexico, Belize, Tunisia, North Korea, Cote d'Ivoire, and others. Added new types of vehicles. Reduced the number of false positives. When you use the RR recognition module, the debug window now displays statistics on skipped frames and the number of recognized license plates per second.

  3. Added the Alarm"Unrecognized LP" setting to the Vehicle Tracer interface object; when you enable this setting, it generates a NOT DETECTED event with an alarm.

  4. Updated the SDK of the VT software module. Added new types of vehicles for Tanzania. Added the support for Zanzibar license plates.

  5. Replaced the Traffic Detection module with the Traffic analysis module that is based on RR analytics by vehicle types, with a new interface and a separate database. The following events are supported: Entering oncoming line, Lost cargo, Road accident, Speed ​​drop, Speeding, Stop, Traffic jam, Vehicle (vehicle count by type) 

  6. Added the support for recognition, identification of vehicle types, and traffic analysis for the AiMobile device 

  7. Added the AR-Video recognition module. Integrated Video SDK from Carmen (Adaptive Recognition)  

  8. For the LPR channel object, added a new setting, Use decoder NGP (GPU + CPU). This setting enables video decoding with the GPU, reducing the load on the CPU 
  9. In the search results in the Event search in the Recognizers DBs window, a frame with a license plate and a recognized vehicle now opens in a separate scalable window after a double click. Added a setting for changing the aspect ratio of a license plate without losing quality. Added the Select all setting to the list of license plate recognizers in the Event search in the Recognizers DBs window. Sorting by the Date column now applies to all pages of the search results. Added the Do not show alarms checkbox. When you set this checkbox, the recognized license plates with registered alarms do not appear in the search results 
  10. You can now change the GPS coordinates and speed limit displayed in the live monitor, when you print out a license plate, and in the frame caption 
    You can use the value of the TitleFields registry key to change the contents of titles. You must specify titles in the comma-separated format "date_and_time, number, country, speed, direction, allowed_speed, device_number, place_control, gps, type, make, model, color", titles are case-insensitive. You can use the values of the FontSize.N and TimestampFontSize.N registry keys to change the size of the black area containing the titles, as well as their font. All fields specified in the key are displayed in the frame caption. If a field value is empty, it will not be added to the caption. You can delete or rearrange fields
     
  11. Now for the RR, VT, LPR IV modules, you can select the device that will be used for license plate recognition from the Use GPU drop-down list on the settings panel of the LPR channel object 

Other

  1. Removed the AUTO-Uragan, BRS, Taiwan, ARENA, CIDR IV, and RIDR IV recognition modules from Auto PSIM 2.0.
  2. Updated and improved documentation.

Auto PSIM 2.0 is compatible with Axxon PSIM 2.0. For the detailed information about the compatibility of product versions, see here.

You can download the current version of the Auto PSIM 2.0 distribution package from the AxxonSoft official website or request it from technical support at support.axxonsoft.com.

When you update from an older version of Auto PSIM, you don't need to uninstall the previous version, as the new version is installed over the old version. For details, see Installation.
