Description

The Motion detector is based on detecting differences between the current frame and the static background, and it generates an event when there is a movement in the camera FOV. You can use the metadata from the Motion detector to operate its sub-detectors (see Standard sub-detectors)

Attention!

  • If you plan to use the metadata of the Motion detector for Search in archive (see Search in archive), you may need to update the license file. Contact a manager of AxxonSoft to get detailed information and a license file.
  • You cannot determine the object type and color based on metadata from the Motion detector.
