To configure alarm processing in the system, do the following:

  1. Go to Settings Options  Alarm processing.
  2. Enter the required parameter settings specified in the table:

    Enter the time during which an alarm must be taken into processing. Otherwise it is assigned the Skipped status. The default value is 5 minutes. To change the time limit, specify a value in the range:

    • hours [0, 96]
    • minutes [2, 59]
    • seconds [0, 59]

    Attention!

    Minimum time limit is 0 hours, 2 minutes, 0 seconds.

    Note

    • To take an alarm into processing, you must switch to the Alarm management mode (see Switching to the Alarm management mode).
    • After you take an alarm into processing, the time for handling it is unlimited.


    Time a camera is on alarm layout[hours], [minutes], [seconds]

    Enter the time during which an alarm is displayed on the alarm layout (see Working with Special layouts). After the specified time has elapsed, the alarm is removed from the layout, and its place is taken by the next alarm, which has not yet been displayed on the layout. By default, the time isn't set. To change the time limit, specify a value in the range:

    • hours [0, 96]
    • minutes [2, 59]
    • seconds [0, 59]
    Mandatory comment
    Confirmed alarm

    By default, when an alarm is triggered, a comment isn't provided (the checkbox is clear). If a mandatory comment is required, set the checkbox 

    Suspicious situation

    By default, when an alarm is triggered, a comment is provided (the checkbox is set). If a mandatory comment isn't required, clear the checkbox 

    False alarm

    By default, when an alarm is triggered, a comment isn't provided (the checkbox is clear). If a mandatory comment is required, set the checkbox 

  3. Click the Apply button.
