You can protect the selected archive fragment from the data loss at the archive overwriting. For this, do the following:

  1. Create the additional archive (see Creating archives) and configure in it the replication by demand (see Configuring data replication).
  2. Switch to the archive mode (Switching to the Archive mode).
  3. Click the Timeline panel button.
    1. Place the timeline pointer at the beginning of the interval.
    2. Click the Set beginning of period button.
    3. Scroll the timeline and place the pointer at the end of the interval.
    4. Click the Set end of period button.
  4. Click the Actions with archive  button.
  5. In the window that opens, click the Replicate archive item.
  6. In the Replicate archive window that opens, specify the parameter settings that are specified in the table:
    Replicate archive
    From[date], [month], [year], [hours], [minutes], [seconds]

    Specify the date and time interval for the archive replication. Data from this range is copied to the additional archive

    Attention!

    • Replication is performed only at the end of the archive. You cannot maintain archive recording over the existing data.
    • If the selected replication range is earlier than the end of the replicated archive, replication is impossible (the Replicate button is unavailable).

    From the drop-down list, select the archive to which you want to replicate data
  7. Click the Replicate button. To cancel actions, click the Cancel button.

The video recording fragment is copied to the selected archive.
