To protect the selected archive fragment from data loss during overwriting, you can manually replicate the fragment to an additional archive. Manual replication can be performed simultaneously for one or several cameras.
Manual archive replication for one camera
To manually replicate the archive of one camera:
- Create an additional archive (see Creating archives) and configure in it the replication on demand (see Configuration of data replication).
- Create or go to the layout with the required cameras.
- Switch to the archive mode (Switching to the Archive mode).
- In the archive panel on the right side of the window:
- Place the timeline pointer at the beginning of the interval.
- Click the Set beginning of period
button. - Scroll the timeline and place the pointer at the end of the interval.
- Click the Set end of period
button.
- Click the Actions with archive
button. - In the window that opens, click the Replicate archive item.
- In the Replicate archive window that opens, specify the settings listed in the table.

- Click the Replicate
button. To cancel actions, click the Cancel

The video fragment is copied to the selected archive.

Manual archive replication for several cameras
To manually replicate the archive of several cameras:
- Create one or several additional archives (see Creating archives) and configure in them the replication on demand (see Configuration of data replication).
- Create or go to the layout with the required cameras (see Configuration of layouts).
- Switch to the archive mode (Switching to the Archive mode).
- Click the
button located in the lower right corner of the surveillance window. - In the window that opens, select the archive from which you want to replicate a video.
- In the archive panel on the right side of the window:
- Place the timeline pointer at the beginning of the interval.
- Click the Set beginning of period
button. - Scroll the timeline and place the pointer at the end of the interval.
- Click the Set end of period
button.
- Click the Actions with archive
button. - In the window that opens, click the Replicate archive item.
- In the Replicate archive window that opens, specify the settings listed in the table.
- From the Replicate to archive drop-down list, select an archive to which replication can be performed from the archives selected on the layout.
- Click the Replicate
button. To cancel actions, click the Cancel
button.
The video fragment is copied to the selected archive. During replication, a pop-up notification appears indicating successful replication for each camera.
