General information
You can use the Activation utility to:
- activate the Axxon One Free license (see Activating the Axxon One Free license);
- create a request to activate a paid license (see Creating an activation request);
- activate a license by applying a license file (see Activation by applying license file);
- activate a license by applying a serial number (see Activation by serial number);
- activate a Guardant dongle (see Activation using Guardant dongle);
- update a license (see Updating the license);
- deactivate a license (see Deactivating the license);
- save a license file (see Saving the license file);
- change the domain name (see Changing the domain name);
- exclude the server from the domain (see Excluding the current server from the domain).
Starting the utility
You can start the Activation utility from the Windows Start menu: Start → Programs → Axxon One → Utilities → Activation utility or from the notification area (see Tray Tool utility).
Note
The LicenseTool.exe executable file of the Activation utility is located in the <Axxon One installation directory>\AxxonSoft\AxxonOne\bin\ folder.
The dialog window of the Activation utility opens.
- In the Server name or IP address field, select one of the domain servers from the drop-down list.
- In the Username field, enter the name of the server user.
- In the Password field, enter the password of the server user.
- Click the Next >> button. The user authentication process starts. The download page is displayed.
After the download is complete, the main window of the Activation utility opens.
Note
To activate Axxon One, you must connect to the server in the domain. Otherwise, an error message appears.
The startup of the Activation utility is complete.
Shutting down the utility
To shut down the utility, click the button.
