An ONVIF profile is a certified set of functions supported by the device.
Axxon PSIM has full support for profiles S, T, and G.
Main ONVIF profiles are described in the table:

| Profile S | Streaming | Transmission of video, audio, PTZ control, events (main for IP cameras) |
| Profile G | Recording | Control of recording and playback, storage of videos on a device |
| Profile T | Advanced features | H.265, enhanced security, HDR, events |
| Profile C | Access control | Access, events, states of locks, and so on |
| Profile A | Access administration | Configuration of users, rights, schedules |
| Profile M | Metadata and analytics | Face recognition, line crossing, motion detectors, and so on |
