Purpose

The map is used to monitor and control system devices (cameras, microphones, sensors, relays, and so on) and to run macros.

Functions

The map has the following functions:

  1. Creation of a multi-level interactive map (graphic diagram) of the protected facility.
  2. Interactive monitoring of the status of all system devices on the map.
  3. Virtual subdivision of a protected facility into areas and sections.
  4. Automatic switching and search for recursive alarm links between layers on the map.
  5. Control of the system's actuating devices on the map.
  6. Running macros.

Interface description

The type of the map depends on the layout of the protected facility and is specified during the system setup. The figure below shows an example of a map for one floor of a protected facility:

System devices are displayed as icons on the map. Each device has its status displayed, and access to device functions is performed via the function menu when you right-click the device icon on the map.

For example, the function menu of the Camera object is shown in the figure:

The map can have multiple layers (levels). In this case you can use the icon of the map layer link to switch between layers.

This icon also displays alarm events registered by one of the devices on the corresponding map layer.
