The video surveillance subsystem allows for video monitoring (view video of an event) and video recording (record video of an event) by providing:

  1. Simultaneous display of videos from multiple cameras on the computer screen.
  2. Priority display of videos from active or alarm cameras.
  3. Change the number and relative position (layout) of surveillance windows.
  4. Color indication of the camera status in the surveillance window (Armed, Alarm, Recording).
  5. Display of service information in the surveillance window: current time and date, camera number and name.
  6. Display of an alarm notification window.
  7. Video scaling.
  8. Scrolling through surveillance windows in automatic and manual modes.
  9. Video recording in the following modes:
    1. Upon alarm event registration.
    2. Upon operator command.
    3. Pre-recording upon alarm event registration/upon operator command.
    4. Post-recording upon alarm event registration/upon operator command.
  10. Saving and exporting individual frames.
  11. Display of a freeze frame without stopping video recording.
  12. Management of video and audio archives.
  13. Video and audio output to all clients with the option of local or remote archiving.
  14. Viewing videos in the archive with the ability to search by time, event, or camera.
  15. Synchronized playback of videos from multiple cameras
  16. Video processing (digital zoom, contrast, and focusing of videos, dynamic outlining of moving objects, and removal of video noise).
  17. Video surveillance using a web browser.
  18. Usage of various types of smart video detectors (motion detectors, face detectors, abandoned object detectors, focus detectors, video signal stability detectors, background change detectors, backlight detectors, camera lens obstruction and rotation detectors, and infrared detectors).
  19. Usage of independent detector areas.
  20. Usage of a detector mask.

Attention!

When you work with a video surveillance monitor, we don't recommend using Windows OS locking, as the server takes some time to restore the video signal after each unlock. Therefore, the more displays, video surveillance monitors, and cameras you add, the longer the restoration process takes.
