Arm a microphone

To arm a microphone, select it in the microphone list and click .

If the level of the microphone signal exceeds the threshold when being armed, recording starts. Otherwise, the microphone is armed, and recording starts when the predefined threshold level of the microphone signal is exceeded. The current status of the recording process is indicated by the microphone indicator (see Indicator of audio recording).
