Function modules

Function (software) modules directly interact with the hardware and also serve as a source of information about the status of monitored objects. The system's software kernel processes information received from various function modules and ensures their integration. The kernel sends ICMP packets ("pings") to software modules every five minutes to check their availability.

The list of available function modules depends on the system configuration. Executable files, corresponding to the function subsystems, are automatically launched by the kernel as the system is configured.

For example, if the Camera object is created, as soon as the relevant settings are confirmed, the video subsystem executive module (video.run executable file) is launched.
