You can use third-party programs, for example, USBoverLAN to forward USB devices in this virtual machine

Officially, the Carmen software module does not support the operation on virtual machines, although the Carmen software module operates on VMware and VirtualBox, as they can control USB devices properly.

Use general requirements for computers in order to determine the requirements for RAM, processor, and so on. Take into account that the performance of virtual systems is less efficient than that of real systems, so the estimated number of cameras must be reduced accordingly. Get more details from the sales department in your AxxonSoft branch.

Attention!

The following restrictions are imposed when Axxon PSIM is working on virtual machines:

  1. The use of video capture devices is not supported.
  2. The operation of Axxon PSIM interface objects, the Report.exe utility, and the Converter.exe utility is not guaranteed on virtual machines.
  3. The operation of the VIT module in demo mode (part of Auto PSIM) is not allowed.
