As a rule, multi-channel audio input devices allow digitizing two or more audio signals depending on the type of audio input device used.
Each multi-channel audio input device is registered in Axxon PSIM by creating and configuring the Audio card object. The Audio card objects are created on the Hardware tab on the basis of the Computer object. When you create the Audio card objects for each multi-channel audio input device, you must assign values of the Board parameter that correspond to the name of the multi-channel audio input device.
The example of configuring the Board parameters when you register the Eholot USB-32 multi-channel audio input device:
Microphones connected to the channels of the multi-channel audio input device are registered in Axxon PSIM by creating and configuring the Microphone objects on the basis of the Audio card object. You can place the Microphone objects on the basis of one Audio card object in the number that corresponds to the number of audio input channels of the configured device with limitations imposed by the license activation key. The corresponding hardware tree section during the registration of the standard audio card and two microphones is shown in the figure.
After you register in Axxon PSIM, you must assign values to the Channel setting parameters of the Microphone objects that correspond to the channel numbers for connecting microphones to the audio input device. The example of configuring the Microphone objects is shown in the figure above.
