The system restart service is designed to control the operability of the Axxon PSIM modules and their restart if there is no response during the specified time interval. You can use both the program and the hardware operability control.
Attention!
The system restart service displays only those Axxon PSIM modules the processes of which are created directly under the Host_client.exe process, which, in turn, is running under the Core_server64 process.
Note
To control the operability of the RTSP Server module, use the special utility and script—see The openRTSP.exe utility for checking the RTSP server workability.
The system restart service allows performing the following actions if there is no response from the module:
Note
When you change the time zone on the computer, the Axxon PSIM core restarts regardless of the settings of the System restart service object. Information about the restart reason is recorded in the Windows system log and in the slave.log file, and the restart counter isn't decremented.
You can configure the system restart service on the settings panel of the System restart service object. This object is created on the basis of the Computer object on the Hardware tab of the System settings dialog window.
