The ability to expand the system is integrated into the Axxon PSIM architecture. It means that the system provides intertasking of the system kernel with functional modules (related information systems) via the TCP/IP communication environment. The interaction graph of the Axxon PSIM kernel with external software (functional module) is given in the figure.
Interaction of the system kernel with external software is performed by exchanging messages in the communication environment implemented by IIDK.
The Integration Developer Kit (IIDK) is a set of development tools for integrating the third-party security software into Axxon PSIM. This kit allows expanding the system rapidly and effectively by adding functional modules that support new hardware or new service functions.
