To ensure the correct recognition of personal protective equipment, you must meet the following image requirements:

  1. The detected object (PPE) must be clearly distinguishable by the human eye.
  2. Image isn't noisy and isn't distorted by compression algorithm artifacts.
  3. The width or height of equipment must not exceed 75% of the frame size.
  4. The duration of the object's visibility is at least 3-8 frames. The minimum number of frames depends on the solved task.
  5. There must be no visible physical barriers between the camera lens and the analyzed object.
  6. The minimum value of pixel density per meter is observed:

Image resolutionObject typeMinimum pixel density per meter (ratio of objects width in pixels to object width in meters)Minimum object size in pixels, Width x Height
    1920x1080Human170~102x309
    1280x720Human128~77x233
    640x360Human80

    ~48x145

  7. The minimum dimensions of equipment on the body areas in pixels are observed. An example of equipment dimensions for the 1920x1080 resolution:

    1. Upper body (torso) 75*100.

    2. Legs 75*105.

    3. Head 60*65.

    4. Hands 65*60.

    5. Feet 45*40.

    6. Set of equipment 165*295.
