The titles overlay setting is to configure the area of titles display and set the font characteristics. Titles are overlaid in the rectangular area on the video.
Attention!
- If a camera and the event source are on different servers, you must ensure time synchronization between them. The allowable time difference is no more than 5 seconds. If you don't follow this recommendation, it can lead to delays in the display of titles.
- If a camera and the event source are on different servers, the search by titles is unavailable. In this case we recommend using the MixForward utility with the corresponding plugin. This utility transmits titles from one server to another. Also add the event sources and link them to the corresponding cameras on the server where these cameras are located.
To configure the titles overlay, do the following:
In the Video sources group, select from the list and add (the + button) the camera on whose image you want to overlay titles (1). You can overlay titles from each POS device on the image from several cameras.
Note
To disable the titles overlay on the image from any camera, you must set the Delete checkbox that corresponds to it and click the − button.
- Select a camera in the Video sources group (2). The Adjust text area group displays the video of the given camera and the adjustable titles overlay area (3).
- You can configure the titles overlay area. You can change the area by moving its borders and anchor points. To move it, use Drag-and-drop method.
- Set the transparency of the titles overlay area (4). The far-left position corresponds to the maximum transparency; the far-right to the minimum one.
- In the Font field, click the button and specify the font settings in the standard Windows window (1).
- Select the font color in the corresponding field (2).
Select the caption overlay font color in the surveillance window (3).
Select Yes for the Bills only parameter (4) if you want to display only the lines that are within the receipt between the start and end words (see Configuring receipt beginning/end).
In the Display duration field, set the time in seconds for displaying the accumulated group of rows on the screen (5). If you set the 0 value, the previous event is deleted when the interval between two events exceeds 10 seconds (default value). If necessary, you can specify another value.
Note
For shops with low event intensity, we recommend setting the display duration to no more than 10 seconds.
Select Yes for the Erase upon completion parameter (6) if you don't want to display the lines that are within the receipt after the end words (see Configuring receipt beginning/end).
Select the method of processing the incoming data (7):
PROCESS_LINEARLY—incoming data is stored in the buffer until the end of the line is received, and only after that is the data transmitted to Axxon One.
PROCESS_EVENT—each message is immediately transmitted to Axxon One.
Note
The PROCESS_JSON method isn't available in the current version of Axxon One.
By default, titles/captions are written to the database without the time offset. If necessary, you can set the offset in seconds in the Sample timestamp offset field (8) in the range [-5; 5].
- Click the Apply button.
Configuring the titles overlay is complete.
