During compressed playback (TimeCompressor), the Surveillance window simultaneously displays tracked objects from different moments in time within the selected part of the archive. This allows you to quickly look through the archive to find important events and investigate them in more detail.

For the compressed playback of a camera archive, the following conditions must be met:

  1. Camera is linked to an archive (see Configuring recording to an archive).

  2. Camera must have at least one active source of metadata (Object tracker, Motion detection, Embedded Detection).

Attention!

For the Object tracker, you must select the video stream currently selected for recording to an archive (see Configuring the Object tracker).
