To configure the Fight detector VL, do the following:

  1. Go to the Detectors tab.
  2. Below the required camera, click Create…  Category: Other Fight detector VL.

By default, the detector is enabled and set to detect a fight in the scene.

If necessary, you can change the detector parameters. The list of parameters is given in the table:

ParameterValueDescription
Object features
Video streamMain streamIf the camera supports multistreaming, select the stream for which detection is needed

Decoder modeAutoSelect a processing resource for decoding video streams. When selecting a GPU, a stand-alone graphics card takes priority (decoding with Nvidia NVDEC chips). The decoding uses the Intel Quick Sync Video technology if there is no appropriate GPU. Otherwise, CPU resources are used for decoding

Detection threshold
(starting with Detector Pack 3.14)
50Specify the threshold value that recognizes behavior as a fight. The higher the value, the greater the chance of detecting weak signs of a fight. The value must be in the range [1, 100]
Ignore time (sec)30

Specify the time interval in seconds during which events aren't processed after successful detection. The parameter is necessary to reduce the total number of events since the analysis is performed continuously, and the duration of real events can be several seconds. You must select the required value empirically. The value must be in the range [0, 9999]

In the preview window, set the area for object detection. You can configure the detection area by moving the anchor points (see Configuring a detection area).

Note

  • For convenience of configuration, you can "freeze" the frame. Click the button. To cancel the action, click this button again.
  • The detection area is displayed by default. To hide it, click the button (see Configuring a detection area). To cancel the action, click this button again.

To save the parameters of the detector, click the Apply  button. To cancel the changes, click the Cancel  button.

Configuring the Fight detector VL is complete.
