You must configure the video player to:

  • View the video archive of events in browsers based on the Blink and Gecko browser engines (Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera, and others).
  • Display frames from cameras in the Report by camera general report.

To configure the video player:

  1. Go to the General tab → Video player settings.
  2. In the Web server field, enter the IP address of the server on which the Web-server module is configured (for details, see Configuring the Web-server module). The default value is http://localhost.

  3. In the Web-server 1 port field, enter the port for connecting to the HTTP server that is specified on the settings panel of the Web-server object (see Parameters of connecting clients to the Web-server). This port is used to receive frames from the camera required for some reports: POS reports, report by employee passes with photo, protocol report with the Report with video checkbox set.

  4. In the Web-server 2 port field, enter the port for connecting to the HTTP server of the Web Server 2.0 object (see Network settings of the Web Server 2.0 module). This port is used to receive video and intervals for the video player.

    Note

    If the Web-server module is configured on the same server where the WEB Report System PSIM is installed, then the values in the Web-server 1 port and Web-server 2 port fields are filled in automatically after you restart the Cassini Service.

  5. In the Username and Password fields, enter the username and password of the Axxon PSIM user, who has the rights to perform video surveillance from a web browser. If you log into Axxon PSIM without authorization, leave the field blank.
  6. Click the Save button to apply the changes.

The video player is configured.
