System log is stored in the local database for each server by default. You can set access to the system log for a user group in the Users tab (see Roles).
Metadata files are stored in the metadata storage in the local directory of the server. The metadata storage path is set during the Axxon One installation (see Installation). If necessary, you can place metadata in the network storage.
To configure the data storage, do the following:

| Period | [days] | Set the storage period of the system log in the server database. One day is set by default. If you want to change the time limit, you must set the value in the range [0, 1000] Attention! If you enter the 0 value, the system log events are stored for 0 days. |
| System log cleanup period | [hours] | Set the system log cleanup period for irrelevant events. 720 hours is set by default. If you want to change the time limit, you must set the value in the range [1, 1000].
