Attention!
Starting with the DriverPack 3.76 version, the tracker is no longer supported (see Documentation Drivers Pack). The first Axxon PSIM hotfix version that doesn't contain it is 4.11.3.4532.
You can use the AxxonSoft analytics (Smart video detection tools) on Axis devices.
Note
This option is available for all Axis devices on the MIPS (the ARTPEC-4, ARTPEC-5 processors) and ARMv7 (the ARTPEC-6, ARTPEC-7 processors) architectures. The parameter settings are given in the AxxonSoft Tracker Help.
In this case, the video analysis and metadata generation are performed by the device resources, due to which the load on the server is decreased.
Attention!
To use the forensic search in the archive with Axis devices for metadata generation, you must create and configure the VMDA metadata storage and Tracker objects. When you configure the Tracker object, select the detector as the metadata source, the description of which is given below. See also Creating and configuring the Tracker object and Creating and configuring VMDA metadata storage.
If you want to receive only the events generated by the detector, then don't create the VMDA metadata storage and Tracker objects.
To do this, do the following:
Select the ACAP application (3) and click the Upload Package button (4).
Note
You can download the app on the AxxonSoft website here.
Select the license file (3) and click the Install button (4).
Note
To receive the license file, go to the Axis website and register the license code along with the MAC camera address. To receive the license code, contact AxxonSoft technical support.
Configure this object in Axxon PSIM as described in the Configuring embedded detection section.
Note
You can configure the tracker parameters in the Setup → Applications → AxxonSoft Tracker → Settings section of the Axis device web interface, similar to the Tracker object in Axxon PSIM (see Creating and configuring the Tracker object).
Configuring the usage of the AxxonSoft tracker in Axis devices is complete.
