Setup procedure for the Monitor object

To configure the Monitor object, do the following:

1. Select the Display and create the Monitor object for it (see Creating the Monitor object).

   Note

   The Display objects are created on the Interfaces tab of the System setting dialog box (see Creating a Display object).

2. Set the parameters of the Monitor interface box (see Set the parameters of the Monitor interface window).
3. Select and configure cameras for displaying in the Monitor box (see Selection and configuration of cameras or Bulk selection and configuration of cameras).
4. Configure an auto selection of video stream for displaying (see Configuration of automatic selection of video stream for display).
5. Configure the camera displaying mode (see Configuration of the display mode of camera windows).
6. Select the video display mode (see Select the display mode).
7. Set the priority of PTZ device control (see Set the PTZ control priority using the Monitor object).
8. Configure the captions showing (see Configuration of caption display).
9. Bind an Audio player to the Monitor (see Bind audio player to the monitor).
10. Configure a rotation angle of video image (see Configuring rotation angle of video image).
11. Configure the interface of the Surveillance windows (see Configuring the interface of the Surveillance window).
12. If necessary, enable and configure the display of Buttons (see Configuring buttons display on the Video surveillance monitor).
