Axxon PSIM is supplied as the software installation kit (distribution package) that is available for downloading on the official website: https://www.axxonsoft.com/support/downloads/axxon-psim.
The distribution package contains the required software components to install Axxon PSIM.
To enable the software features, you must have the psim.sec license key supplied by the AxxonSoft manager. The license key determines the Axxon PSIM delivery configuration.
Note
If the license key is missing, Axxon PSIM operates in demo mode for two months counted from the date of creating the core_server64.exe executable file, from 8 a.m. till 12 midnight.
To install and configure Axxon PSIM, you must have the Windows OS administrator rights.
The description of the main components of the Axxon PSIM installation kit is given below:

| Drivers | The folder containing the Guardant drivers |
| ipint.driverpack | The folder containing the drivers package installation kit for the IP Drivers Pack IP devices integrated in Axxon PSIM |
| Key | The folder containing the license key file. If you download the installation kit from the official AxxonSoft website rather than receive it on a disk, then this folder is empty |
| languages | The folder containing the language packages for installation. By default, it contains only the Setup folder with the English (en) language packages. If you delete the corresponding folder, the selection of the corresponding software installation language becomes unavailable. Other language packs downloaded from the official AxxonSoft website can be added to the languages folder to install Axxon PSIM in the required language—for details, see Installation of Axxon PSIM as a Server/Remote administrator's workstation |
| Redist | The folder containing the installation kits of the prerequisites required for the Axxon PSIM operation—for details, see Usage of Product.msi and Redist.exe for Axxon PSIM installation |
| Product.msi | The installation file for installing Axxon PSIM without additional components (drivers, prerequisites, and so on)—for details, see Usage of Product.msi and Redist.exe for Axxon PSIM installation |
| Redist.exe | The installation file for installing the additional components required for the Axxon PSIM operation (drivers, prerequisites, and so on)—for details, see Usage of Product.msi and Redist.exe for Axxon PSIM installation |
| setup.exe | The executable file to run the full installation of Axxon PSIM with all required drivers, prerequisites, and so on |
