To configure the Audio classification IV, do the following:

  1. Submit to the technical support the MAC address of the server where the detector will be used.

    Attention!

The detector will not work on the server with a different MAC address.

  2. Copy the license received from the technical support into the C:\Program Files\Common Files\AxxonSoft\DetectorPack\LicenseFile_AudioIV.txt file.
  3. Restart the server (see Stopping the server, Starting the server).
  4. On the Detectors tab, below the required camera, click Create… Category: Production Safety Audio classification IV.

By default, the detector is set to recognize the following types of sounds:

  • the sound of aggressive behavior,
  • the sound of a gunshot,
  • the sound of a smoke alarm,
  • the sound of a child crying,
  • the sound of breaking glass,
  • the sound of a siren,
  • the sound of a dog barking.

If necessary, you can change the detector parameters. The list of parameters is given in the table:

Attention!

Recommendation for the sound detection threshold parameters: start with a value of 0.99 and gradually lower it if the detector misses target events, or increase it if there are too many false events.

  • A high value (close to 1): lower sensitivity, fewer false events, but a higher risk of missing an event.
  • A low value (close to 0.01): high sensitivity, better detection, but more false events.

Configuration of the Audio classification IV is complete.

If necessary, you can search the archive for events that were generated by the detector. You can search for all types of sounds or for a specific type of sound (see Events search).
