To configure the Hands up detection, do the following:

  1. Create Pose Detection (see Configuring the Pose Detection).
  2. Below the Pose Detection, click Create…  Hands up detection.

By default, the Hands up detection triggers if there is a person with both hands raised in a specified area.

If necessary, you can change the detection tool parameters. The list of parameters is given in the table:

Specify the minimum number of frames with a person with a hand/hands raised for the detection tool to trigger. The value must be in the range [1, 20].
The recommended (default) value is 2.
Increasing the value can help eliminate false alarms, but increases the risk of skips. 
Decreasing the value can help reduce skips, but increases the probability of false alarms

Note

  • The Hands up detection works in the areas for detection and skip areas specified in the Pose Detection (see Configuring the Pose Detection).
  • For convenience of configuration, you can "freeze" the frame. Click the button. To cancel the action, click this button again.
  • The area for detection is displayed by default. To hide it, click the button. To cancel the action, click this button again.

To save the parameters of the detection tool, click the Apply  button. To cancel the changes, click the Cancel  button.
