Previous page Server settings  Requirements to video parameters for Search in archive Next page

On the page:

To perform Search in archive of a camera, the following conditions must be met:

  1. Video meets the requirements (see Requirements to video parameters for Search in archive).

  2. There are recordings of a video stream from the required camera in the archive (see Configuring recording to an archive).
  3. There are recordings of metadata from at least one source in the database of object tracks. Metadata can be generated by Axxon One (see Metadata database) or received from a camera (see General information about embedded detectors).
  4. The user has the appropriate permissions (see Roles).

This section contains information on how to configure Axxon One to meet these conditions.

Enabling the recording of video stream metadata

To enable metadata recording to the database, select Yes in the Record objects tracking list for the corresponding detection tool (object tracker, face recognition, embedded detection). The metadata recording is enabled by default.

In the settings of the Motion detection, you must enable the Object tracking parameter (see Motion detector).

Note

For the information on configuring the storage of metadata, see Configuring storage of the archive, system log, and metadata.

Configuring user permissions for Search in archive

You need Live/Archive, Live/Archive/Control or Live/Archive/Control/Configure permissions for a camera to perform a Search in archive (see Roles).
