Documentation for Axxon One 2.0. Documentation for other versions of Axxon One is available too.
When you use Search in archive, the video parameters must meet the same requirements as for detection tools.
In addition, there is a dependence of the minimum and maximum allowable speed of object movement in the video image on the camera frame rate:
The maximum speed depends on the size of an object. The following table shows the dependence of the maximum allowable speed on the frame rate for typical objects—human and car:
Frame rate
Maximum allowable speed of a human
Maximum allowable speed of a car
6 FPS
5 km/hr
40 km/hr
12 FPS
10 km/hr
85 km/hr
25 FPS
20 km/hr
170 km/hr
So if it is necessary, for example, to detect people moving at a speed of up to 10 km/hr, it is sufficient to record at 12 FPS.
- The minimum speed of object movement must be such that the object image shifts by at least 1 pixel per frame.
