Documentation for Intellect 4.11.0-4.11.3. Documentation for other versions of Intellect is available too.
Intellect has the possibility of transmitting the audio signals from microphones to IP devices and playing back the audio signals with loudspeakers or headphones connected to IP devices.
There are two ways audio signals can be transmitted to IP devices in Intellect:
- using the Audio player interface object;
- using the Voice notification service system object.
The Audio player object is used to transmit audio signals from the selected microphones to the supported IP devices.
To set up the transmission of audio signals using the Audio player object, do the following:
- Go to the Audio player interface object settings panel.
- Set the coordinates and the size of the Audio player interface window, as well as the number of the physical monitor on which the window will be displayed (1).
From the Device drop-down list, select the required IP device (2).
- From the Channel drop-down list, select the required audio signals playback channel (3).
- From the drop-down list in the Number column, select the Microphone object number, from which the audio signal has to be transmitted to the selected IP device (4). Other columns of the table will be filled in automatically.
- Repeat step 5 for each required Microphone objects.
- Click the Apply button to save the changes (5).
Setting up the transmission of the audio signals using the Audio player object is completed.
Note
The Voice notification service object is used to transmit audio files in the WAV format to the supported IP devices. Setting up of the Voice notification service object is described in Setting up the voice notification.
