This page describes the setup using the example of receiving video from Axxon One.
Receiving video using the ONVIF-Server module is configured in Axxon One. Information on how to search and add IP devices to Axxon One is described in the Axxon One User Guide.
After adding a camera to Axxon One, in Axxon PSIM two ONVIF-Server Profile objects will be created under ONVIF-Server object for each camera added to the corresponding RTSP Server. These objects correspond to video streams of low and high quality in Axxon One.
Note
If multistreaming is disabled for the camera, then the parameters of both profiles corresponding to the camera are the same. See Configuration of multistream video.
If user rights are configured in Axxon PSIM (see Configuration of users and permissions), then the login and password are to be specified in order to connect to the camera. Otherwise there is no need to specify any login or password.
If required it is possible to select the video stream in the Stream drop-down list. Available video streams are configured on the settings panel of the Camera object—see Configuration of multistream video.
When changing camera parameters in Axxon One the corresponding changes will be applied in Axxon PSIM too. For instance, if the microphone, analytics, metadata transmission and sensor/relays are enabled in Axxon One, then the corresponding settings are applied for the ONVIF-Server Profile object in Axxon PSIM:
Important!
Changes of the configuration of the RTSP Server object corresponding to the ONVIF Server object in Axxon PSIM will be applied in Axxon One only after the Axxon One Server is restarted or when the camera is deleted and added to Axxon One again.
Besides, there are the following checkboxes on the settings panel of the ONVIF-Server Profile object:
