The Speaker object is an audio playback device.

The Speaker object is registered under the Audio playback card object in the Hardware tab in the System settings dialog box.

 

To configure the Speaker object, do the following:

  1.  Go to the setting panel of the Speaker object.
     
  2. Select the coding format of reproducible audio signal in the Codec dropdown list (1). The following codecs are supported:
    1. PCM
    2. G.711
    3. G711_alaw
    4. G721
    5. G.723
    6. G726_16
    7. G726_32
    8. IMA_ADPCM
    9. G726_SUN16
    10. G726_FFMPEG_16
    11. G726_FFMPEG_32
    12. G726_40
    13. G726_SUN24
    14. G726_FFMPEG_24
    15. G726_FFMPEG_40
    16. PCM_8
    17. VNDR.0.9
  3. Select channel number of speaker connection in sound card from the list of the same name (2).
  4. To save the changes click the Apply button (3).
  5. Select the created object in the Speaker drop-down list on the Operator tab of the Computer object settings panel – see Selecting speaker, microphone and camera for SIP-operator.

    Note.

     Several Speaker objects can be configured in the system. When the speaker is changed over using the Speaker list on the Computer object settings panel, then Axxon PSIM is to be restarted on the computer where it is in use.
  6. Click the Apply button.

The Speaker object is now configured.
