To set up the Voice Notification Service object, do the following:
- Go to the Hardware tab of the System Settings window (1).
- Create the Voice Notification Service object in the Computer node in the objects tree (2). The object appears in the objects tree, and the settings panel for this object opens on the right side of the System Setting window.

- Choose the device in the Sound card list to send the notification to (3).
- Specify the IP address of the network device (sound card, IP camera or Linux Hub), used to access this device over the network (4). If the sound card of the local computer is selected, this field is disabled.
- Specify the Username of the network device (sound card, IP camera or Linux Hub), used to access this device over the network (5). If the sound card of the local computer is selected, this field is disabled.
- Specify the Password of the network device (sound card, IP camera or Linux Hub), used to access this device over the network (6). If the sound card of the local computer is selected, this field is disabled.
- Choose the headphones (speakers) playback option in the Channel drop-down list (7).
- If the soundcard has two outputs (left/right), the list contains the following options: a) Left, b) Left + Right, c) Right.
- If the sound card has N outputs, the list contains the numbered outputs from 0 to N-1.
- Specify the Volume level using the slider (8).
- Press the Apply button to save the settings for the Voice Notification Service object (9).
