To set up the Short Message object, do the following:

  1. Go to the Hardware tab of the System Settings window (1).
  2. Create the Short Message object in the Short Message Service node in the objects tree (2). The object appears in the objects tree, and the settings panel for this object opens on the right side of the System Setting window.
  3. Enter the telephone number into the Telephone field in the following format: [prefix “+”] [country code] [city/provider code] [phone number] with no spaces or other delimiters (3). If it is necessary to send a message to several numbers, then enter the numbers separated by ";" (semicolon) with no spaces.
  4. Enter the message text into the Message field (4).
  5. If a short message is to be force sent, click the TEST button (5). Make sure the message has been received by the recipient. Otherwise check if Short message service and Short message objects have been configured correctly.
  6. Press the Apply button to save the settings for the Short Message object. (6).
