Previous page Department registration  Removing user accounts Next page

To register Operator accounts, the User objects are to be created.

An individual account is to be created for each Operator. To register an Operator account, do the following:

  1. Open the Users tab in the System Settings dialog box (1).
  2. Create a User object under the Department object in the objects tree (2). In the Name field enter the username (the user's last name if the Access Manager module is in use).

    Note.

Do not use rs as username when registering Operator accounts as this name is used by default in Axxon PSIM Web Report System. If the user with such name is careted in Axxon PSIM, then the error can occur when Axxon PSIM Web Report System is started.

  3. The created object appears in the objects tree, and the settings panel for this object opens on the right side of the System Setting dialog box.

  4. You can change username if necessary (3).
  5. Set user's Name (4) and/or Patronymic (5) if needed.
  6. If two-factor authentication is to be configured in the system, enter user phone number in the Phone field (6). See also Configuring two-factor authentication.
  7. Click Apply or go to the settings panel of another object.

    Note.

If user's name or patronymic is specified, it is displayed in the tree along with the last name (2).

The operator account is now registered.

Note.

The settings of the User object are intended to configure the access control system. They are usually set using the Access Manager module in the ACFA PSIM subsystem (see Introduction into the Guide for configuring and working with the Access Manager integration module). In the Access Manager you can also add the photo displayed on the User object settings panel.

Face recognition and search interface being part of Face PSIM software also allows adding and editing user's photo (see Face PSIM documentation in AxxonSoft documentation repository for details on its setting up and configuration).
