The Failover service object is used to ensure the operation of the distributed system in the failover mode.
The settings panel of the Failover service object is shown in the figure.
Table describes the setting parameters corresponding to the elements of the settings panel of the Failover service object.
№
| Parameter
| Method for setting the parameter value | Parameter description | Representation | Default value | Value range |
1 | Monitor PC | Select the value from the list | Sets the name of the Server the state of which will be monitored by the object | Names of the Computer objects registered in the system | - | Depends on the number of the Computer objects registered in the system |
2 | Speed of object transfer to monitoring computer (rpm) | Enter the value into the field | Sets the speed of transferring objects in case the connection is lost. This setting is necessary so that the failover server sends messages at a certain speed and the receiving server has time to process them. The transfer speed should be set depending on the network speed, server bandwidth, etc. | Sequence of numbers | 1000 | From 0 and above |
3 | Wait for reconnection (s) | Enter the value into the field | Sets the time period in seconds after which the configuration will be transferred to the backup Server after the loss of connection | Sequence of numbers | - | From 0 to 65535 |
4 | Time left __ days | Automatically | Displays the period of time in days remaining to restore the configuration from the backup Server to the main Server and restore the license | Days | 0.00 | From 0.00 to 50.00 |
5 | Transfer if no ping | Set the checkbox | Specifies if it is necessary to transfer the configuration without the ping from the main monitored Server | Boolean type | Clear | Set—the configuration is transferred if there is no ping Clear—ping isn't taken into account when transferring the configuration |
6 | Type | Select the value from the list | Sets the object type in the configuration of the monitored Server that should be transferred to the backup Server in case of connection loss | Types of objects registered on the basis of the main Server | - | Depends on the configuration created on the basis of the main Server |
7 | Number | Select the value from the list | Sets the identifier of the object of the selected type that should be transferred to the backup Server in case of connection loss | Identifiers of the objects of the selected type that are present in the configuration of the monitored Server | - | Depends on the number of the objects of the selected type in the configuration of main Server |
8 | Name | Automatically | Sets the name of the object that should be transferred to the backup Server in case of connection loss | Names of the objects of the selected type that are present in the configuration of the monitored Server | - | Depends on the configuration created on the basis of the main Server |
9 | Range | Click the button | Opens the dialog box for the complex selection of the monitored objects | - | - | - |
