In Axxon One, it is possible to automatically copy archives (video, audio, alarms) and camera events from local Servers that are not combined into a single Axxon-domain with a centralized Server.

Note

This feature is useful, for example, in the following case:

  • The video from a bus on the route network is recorded to a temporary archive on the local Server specific for each bus.
  • When the bus arrives at the depot, the archive and camera events are automatically transferred to the centralized server.

To use this option, configure the centralized Server as follows:

  1. Manually add the Interop IP device to the configuration (see Searching, adding, configuring and removing IP devices).

  2. Enable the Embedded storage object.

    Note

It is recommended to synchronize the time of the local Server with the time of the centralized Server.

  3. To receive sound from video cameras, configure the Microphone object.
  4. Specify the address of the device in the following format (1): <IP-address of local Server>:<name of local Server in Axxon-domain>:<ID of camera on Server>.

    Attention!

    The Server name is case-sensitive.

If the Server name is Server1, then if you enter server1 or SERVER1 there will be no connection.

  5. Specify a port of the local Server from which data is transmitted (2). If you use TCP protocol (see step 9), specify the RTSP port number (554 by default, see Configuring the RTSP server). If you use rtspoverhttp or rtspoverhttps protocol, specify the Web server's port (80 by default, Configuring the Web-Server).

  6. Specify the user name and password (3). The user must have permissions to access the local server.
  7. If you want to display live video from the local server when it is available, select Yes in the corresponding field (4).
  8. Specify the maximum playback speed (5).
  9. Select the data transfer protocol (6).

  10. Click the Apply button.
  11. Repeat the previous steps to add and configure all the necessary video cameras from all local Servers.
  12. Configure automatic replication from the embedded storages of the added devices to the centralized server archive (see Configuring data replication).

    Attention!

With a high network load, there can be gaps in the centralized server archive.

Automatic data copying from the local servers to the centralized server is configured.
