A video wall is a set of monitors that are physically and logically connected into a single screen.
A video wall can include any monitors of all Clients of the domain. Except for cases when the user doesn't have permissions to the Servers to which some monitors in the video wall are connected (see Roles). In such cases, the user won't see the monitors to which they don't have access.
By default, the video wall is displayed with the initial configuration from the monitors of a local Client. However, after you make changes and save the configuration of the video wall, these changes are applied to all users in the domain.
You can configure a video wall on the corresponding panel (see Video wall panel).
To configure a video wall, do the following:
- Click the button.
- Click the
Drag and drop monitor icons according to their physical locations on the video wall.
Note
An ID number is assigned to each monitor added to the video wall. To display the ID number of a monitor, click the
button.- Click the Apply button.
The video wall is configured.
Note
You can manage the monitors of the video wall similarly to the Client monitors (see Managing monitors on a local Client, Managing monitors on remote Clients within the Axxon-domain).
