Documentation for Axxon One 2.0. Documentation for other versions of Axxon One is available too.
To migrate the Axxon One configuration from Linux OS to Linux OS, do the following:
- Install the Axxon One Client on Windows OS, or use an already installed Client (see Installation).
- Connect to the Backup and restore utility as a remote user and back up the configuration (see Backup and restore utility).
- In Linux OS, run the command:
sudo dpkg-reconfigure axxon-one
- Enter the name of the Server node that is used in the configuration backup.
- Run the Backup and restore utility (see Backup and restore utility) from a remote Windows OS Client.
- Restore the configuration by selecting the saved backup (see Backup and restore utility).
Attention!
- When you migrate a configuration, archive as a file is migrated together with the hard disks. You must restore the paths to the archive volumes using the Linux OS administration tools. If you cannot restore the original paths to the logical archive volumes, you must configure the archive volume with a new path and then delete the inactive archive volume from the configuration.
- You can migrate archive as a partition in the same way as archive as a file.
- After you restore the archive, you must check the permission level of the archive file. The archive must belong to the ngp user.
