Documentation for Axxon One 2.0. Documentation for other versions of Axxon One is available too.
To migrate the Axxon One configuration from Linux OS to Windows OS, do the following:
- Install the Axxon One Client on Windows OS, or use an already installed Client (see Installation).
- Connect to the Backup and restore utility as a remote user and back up the configuration (see Backup and restore utility).
- Run the Backup and restore utility (see Backup and restore utility) in Windows OS and select the specified Server at startup.
Attention!
The name of the local Server in Windows OS must match the name of the Server from the configuration backup.
- Restore the configuration by selecting a saved backup (see Backup and restore utility).
- Deactivate the license (see Deactivating a license) and reapply the license file (see Activation by applying license file).
Attention!
If you used the disk in Linux OS entirely as an archive, you must add it again in Windows OS through the administration panel. After adding the disk, add a new archive volume without deleting the old archive. This is necessary to keep the cameras bound to the archive. Next, restart Axxon One. After that, the indexing process starts and the old data appears in the archive.
