Documentation for Axxon One 2.0. Documentation for other versions of Axxon One is available too.
When working with archives, you can see the statuses of archive volumes in the lower part of the Partitions information section. They show the status of an archive and allow you to evaluate its readiness for operation (read, write, or restore data).
The table describes possible statuses of the archive volumes:
Status | Description |
---|---|
Ready (X %) | Archive volume is ready for use. The percentage of used space of an archive volume is indicated in brackets. If a volume is 100% full, it means that new data is written over the old data |
Formatting | Archive volume is in the process of being formatted |
Opening | Archive volume is opening |
Disabled | Archive volume is disabled |
Background maintenance (X %) | Archive volume is in the process of being restored or re-indexed. The percentage in brackets indicates how much of the recorded volume has been restored at the moment |
Partition should be formatted or recovered | Archive volume is found, but isn’t ready for use. The file system structure can be damaged, missing, or needs to be formatted. If necessary, you must restore or format the archive volume |
Error | An error related to the operation of the archive volume has occurred. You must check the system log to eliminate the cause of the error (see System log). If the problem persists, you must contact AxxonSoft technical support |
Encrypted | Archive volume is encrypted (see Encrypting a volume of an object archive) |
