To provide operation of distributed system operation, you must configure the interaction between Servers, Remote Admin Workstations Administrator’s workstations and Remote Clients interactions are to be configured. . The interaction between Servers, Remote Admin Workstations Administrator’s workstations and Remote Clients interaction means database replication (for Servers and Remote Admin Workstations Administrator’s workstations only) and event exchange. For During configuration, you must specify for each Server, Remote Admin Workstation and  Remote Administrator’s workstation and Remote Client the lists of interacting and non-interacting Servers, Remote Admin Workstations and Administrator’s workstation and Remote Clients are to be created.

4. In the IP address column, specify the addresses of the computers you are connecting to (4). Features:

5. If the specified IP address must be set for all communications connections with this computer in the distributed system, right-click in the the IP address field and select Replace links from <Computer name> to with <IP-address>  in connections in the opened feature menu (5). This is allowed if computers with one network interface are used in the distributed system and the specified IP address is to must be used to communicate with these computers.

   When clicking the Apply button you click the Apply button (see step 10), the changes will be are saved only for the current computer. In order for the IP address to be saved for all computers in the distributed system, click the the Apply button holding button pressing down the the Ctrl key on the keyboard.

6. If the box next the checkbox in the Connection column and in the row , corresponding to the Server, Remote Admin Workstation or  Remote Administrator’s workstation or Remote Client is checkedset, then the data on system configuration of the selected Server, Remote Admin Workstation or Administrator’s workstation or Remote Client with any Server, Remote Admin Workstation Administrator’s workstation or Remote Client is exchanged (65). To forbid prohibit exchange of configuration data with the selected Server, Remote Admin Workstation or Administrator’s workstation or Remote Client, set clear the checkbox in the the Connection column unchecked column.

7. 8. If modems are used for connecting the distributed system components, then fill in the Connection, User and Password fields in the Hardware tab properties of the the Computer object according on the Hardware tab according to the Windows modem configuration used.
9. Repeat steps 2-5 6 for each twain pair of Servers, Remote Admin Workstations Administrator’s workstations and Remote Clients.
10. Click the Apply button.

Let’s consider setup of a Server and Remote Client connection via video gate videogate as an example. A diagram of interaction of relevant components is shown in the figure.

In Axxon PSIM, the Computer object corresponding to the The Remote Client (MN1) Computer object in isn't displayed on the Hardware tab in the of the System settings dialog box on the server (SERVER1) will not be displayed in the Axxon PSIM software packagewindow.

However, if the you set the Send events checkbox is set  (the Connection checkbox is to be deselectedclear), the Computer object corresponding to the Remote Client (MN1) will be is displayed on the Hardware tab on the Server (SERVER1) tab , but it will be is marked with Image Removed and the Image Added icon and the object name will be is highlighted by in grey color.  This indicates It means that administering administration of the given object is forbidden.
