General information
When working with lists of faces, you can configure a macro to start (see General information about macros), when:
- the recognized face is present in the selected list;
- the recognized face is absent in the selected list;
- it is necessary to recognize the presence of the specific face in a list;
- the recognized face is absent in all created lists.
Presence of the recognized face in the selected list of faces
To configure a macro that starts when the recognized face is present in the selected list of faces, do the following:
- Go to the Programming tab.
- In the Event rules list, click Create....
- In the start conditions, select the required camera → the Face recognition event → required list of faces.
- Select the Presence option.
- Click the button and select the action that will be performed when an event from the start conditions occurs (see Examples of macros).
- Click the Apply button.
Configuration of a macro that starts when the recognized face is present in the selected list of faces is complete.
Absence of the recognized face in the selected list of faces
To configure a macro that starts when the recognized face is absent in the selected list of faces, do the following:
- Go to the Programming tab.
- In the Event rules list, click Create....
- In the start conditions, select the required camera → the Face recognition event → required list of faces.
- Select the Absence option.
- Click the button and select the action that will be performed when an event from the start conditions occurs (see Examples of macros).
- Click the Apply button.
Configuration of a macro that starts when the recognized face is absent in the selected list of faces is complete.
Recognition of the presence of a specific face in the list of faces
To configure a macro that starts when a specific face is present in the list of faces, do the following:
- Go to the Programming tab.
- In the Event rules list, click Create....
- In the start conditions, select the required camera → the Face recognition event → required list of faces.
- Select the Presence option.
- Select the required person from the drop-down list
When you are working with Lists of Facial Templates, you can configure the macros to trigger on the following events:
- If the target face shows up in the selected list.
- If the target face does not show up in the selected List of Facial Templates.
- Recognition of a specific face from the selected List of Facial Templates.
- If the target face does not show up in all available lists.
- Recognition of any face from any List of Facial Templates.
Target face shows up in the selected List of Facial Templates
In this case, configure the macro as follows:
- Go to the Start conditions in the Face recognition list and select the required List of Facial Templates (1).
- Leave the field 2 empty.
- The status of the Presence toggle (3).
The target face does not show up in the selected List of Facial Templates
In this case, configure the macro as follows:
- Go to the Start conditions in the Face recognition list and select the required List of Facial Templates (1).
- Leave the field 2 empty.
- The status of the Absence toggle (3).
Recognition of a specific face from the selected List of Facial Templates
In this case, configure the macro as follows:
- Go to the Start conditions field in the Face recognition list and select the required list (1).

In this case, configure the macro as follows:
- Go to the Start conditions field in the Face recognition list and select Not listed (1).
- Leave the field 2 empty.

In this case, configure the macro as follows:
- Click the button and select the action that will be performed when an event from the start conditions occurs (see Examples of macros).
- Click the Apply button.

Absence of the recognized face in all created lists of faces
To configure a macro that starts when the recognized face is absent in all created lists of faces, do the following:
- Go to the Programming tab.
- In the Event rules list, click Create....
- In the start conditions, select the required camera → the Face recognition event → Not listed.
- Click the button and select the action that will be performed when an event from the start conditions occurs (see Examples of macros).
- Click the Apply button.
