People counter counts the number of people in the specified area using the metadata of the Pose Detectionthe Human pose detector.

A triggerAn event, on the basis of which a macro can be started (see see Configuring start conditions for event-driven macros), can be generated if the number of people in the frame meets the specified conditions.

In the Surveillance window on the layout next to the counter icon, you can add text and the number of people counted by the detection tool detector (see Displaying the number of detected objects).
