Setting the ATM-Intellect Workstation connection parameters

ATM-Intellect Workstation supports simultaneous operations with objects via the TCP/IP protocol and the RS232 protocol.

Setting up a connection is performed as follows:

1. Go to the ATM-Intellect Workstation object’s setting panel.
   
2. Set up TCP/IP connection:
   1. In the TCP/IP port (ATM) field enter the TCP/IP port for communication with remote objects (1).
   2. In the TCP/IP port (Archive) field enter  the TCP/IP port for communication with the module Search in archive (2).
3. For operations via the RS232 protocol, the following parameters are configured: First COM port number, Number of COM ports, COM port speed, COM port format (3).

4. Specify the list of ATMs (4):

   Note.

    In the hardware tree must be objects corresponding to all ATMs connected to the video surveillance system.
   1. Press Add… button (5). A dialog box for adding ATM will appear.
      
   2. The ID field must be the same as the ID field in the Surveillance object settings (a child object of ATM-Intellect Pro) (1).
   3. The fields ID in Intellect (2) and Name (3) must match the Number and Name fields of the corresponding ATM machine object.
   4. Press OK (4).
   5. Repeat steps 4.a-4.d for all required ATMs.
5. Press Apply.

Setting up a connection is completed.
