HID (Hardware ID) – is encrypted information about computer equipment which is gathered by CodeReader utility and is transferred to AxxonSoft for license key generation.
At the moment of writing the documentation the binding of following elements has been realized:
- motherboard;
- processor;
- hard disk;
- RAM;
- video card;
- netcard
Note.
Before releasing 4.8.3 version in INTELLECT™ the license key was generated using the information about other equipment. If the license key was generated for INTELLECT™ software of earlier version ,then its features are saved — see documentation about earlier versions https://doc.axxonsoft.com/confluence/display/ASdoc/AxxonSoft+documentation+repository
If main utilities of Server are replaced, then the licence is not active. For instance, simultaneous replacement of motherboard and processor will cause the license loss. However, simultaneous replacement, installation or deinstallation of hard disk, RAM, video card or netcard will not cause the key deactivation.
