Configuring embedded detectors

To configure embedded detectors, do the following:

1. Go to the settings panel for the Embedded detector object.
   
2. In the id in device terms field the detector code in the device is specified (camera, card) (1). It is recommended to leave this field unchanged for proper operation of the detector.

3. Set the Generate alarm on the camera checkbox if the alarm is to be generated on the camera by detector’s response (2).

   Note.

   The alarm triggers on the embedded detection tool instead of the camera when the camera is disarmed.

   Furthermore, the alarm triggers neither on camera nor embedded detection for metadata events intended for the Tracker (see Creating and configuring the Tracker object).

4. Set the Show events on screen checkbox if it is necessary to display tracks from the built-in detection tool regardless of the corresponding settings of the Tracker object and metadata source selected in it (3). For example, this setting can be applied for embedded detection tools that are in use for AxxonSoft tracking in Axis devices.

5. Click the Apply button to save the changes (4).

Embedded detectors are now configured.
