To remove the Axxon PSIM software from the Start menu do the following:

  1.  In the Windows start menu select the Axxon PSIM folder and then Remove in it.

    As a result the Select Action dialog box is displayed.
  2. Set the switch to Remove.

  3. If Axxon PSIM settings are to be saved in the database, set the Save program settings and configuration files (recommended) checkbox.

    Note.

    If the “sync.xml” file was changed, then after removing with saving of the configuration it will not be deleted, but the next time you install Axxon PSIM it will be overwritten.
    If you made changes to ddi or dbi files installed along with Axxon PSIM software, then these files will be deleted when removing Axxon PSIM even with Save program settings and configuration files (recommended) checkbox set. If the user has created new ddi or dbi files, they will be saved regardless of the checkbox.

  4. Click the Next button.

    Note.

    Click the Cancel button to interrupt Axxon PSIM software removing.


    The dialog window displaying the removing of Axxon PSIM software will be displayed.

    After removing the files, message, informing about the removing of Axxon PSIM software will be displayed.

  5. Click the Finish button.

Note.

For complete deletion of Axxon PSIM software files delete the installation catalog and all the created Video folders for storing the audio and video recordings manually.


Note.

Please take into consideration, that the name of the Axxon PSIM software installation folder may differ from the default name (C:\Axxon PSIM).

Note.

In certain cases, Windows OS should be restarted before the Axxon PSIM software installation folder is deleted (for instance, Folders/Axxon PSIM).

Note.

We do not recommend deleting the Axxon PSIM software installation folder, if you need to re-install Axxon PSIM software. The folder contains:

  1. folders with video records and frames of video records exported during Axxon PSIM software operation;
  2. log files containing the information about Axxon PSIM software module operations;
  3. backup copies of these  files.

At this stage the deletion process of Axxon PSIM software from the Start menu is over.
