The settings panel of the RTSP Server object is shown in figure. Corresponding tables describe the settings on the RTSP Server object settings panel.
The Basic settings tab
№ | Parameter | Method for setting the parameter value | Parameter description | Symbols used | Default value | Value range |
1 | ID* | Automatically | Displays the ID of the RTSP Server object in the video surveillance system | Sequence of numbers | - | Depends on the number of the RTSP Server objects in the video surveillance system |
2 | Name* | Type-in the value in the field | Sets the name of the RTSP Server object in the video surveillance system | Latin, Cyrillic and service characters | RTSP Server | A line containing a sequence of any symbols (letters, digits, service characters apart from > and < symbols), not case-sensitive. Number of symbols – from 1 to 60. |
3 | Disable | Checkbox | Sets the state (enabled or disabled) of the RTSP Server object in the video surveillance system | Boolean type | No | Yes – the RTSP Server object is disabled and is not in use. No - the RTSP Server object is enabled and is in use. |
4 | Computer | Selected in the list | Sets the parent Computer object to which the RTSP Server object relates | Names of the Computer objects registered in the system | Name of the parent Computer object | Depends on the number of Servers in the video surveillance system with distributed architecture |

5 | Cameras | Checkbox | Specifies cameras video from which is to be transmitted to remote workstations | Boolean type | No | Yes – video stream can be viewed at remote workstation. No – video stream cannot be viewed at remote workstation |
6 | Gate | Select the value in the list | Specifies the Video gate through which video is received from the camera | The names of the Video gate objects registered in the system | - | Depends on the number of the Video gate objects registered in the system |
7 | Port | Type-in the value in the field | Sets a port via which a video signal from the camera is transmitted. Note. This column is available only if is the Multicast check box is set checked (11). Note 2. Specified ports are not addressed directly. Use RTSP port to get video from all cameras in the Multicast mode (see item 13). | Sequence of numbers | - | Any numbers of ports that are not in use. The number of ports is specified by the system administrator. |
8 | Backup arch. | Select the value in the list | Specifies the Backup archive from which archive is received for the camera | The names of the Backup archive objects registered in the system | - | Depends on the number of the Backup archive objects registered in the system |
9 | Unicast | Checkbox | Enables the "unicast" transmitting mode | Boolean type | Yes | Yes – the video is transmitted in the "unicast" mode. No – the video is not transmitted in the "unicast" mode. |
10 | RTSP port | Type-in the value in the field | Sets the port via which video is transmitted | Sequence of numbers | 554 | Any numbers of ports that are not in use. The number of ports is specified by the system administrator. |
