You can remove archive volumes.

To remove a volume, do the following:

  1. Click the button.

    Note

If there is only one volume in the archive, you cannot remove it.

  2. Click the Apply button.
  3. If necessary, you can remove archive files.

    Attention!

If you remove the archive files, then all archive records that they contained will be lost.

If you do not delete archive files, you can re-use them to create another archive (see Creating an archive based on existing archive volumes). You can also use a partition to re-create an archive.

Note

You can also remove volumes of a cloud archive using gRPC API (see Remove archive using gRPC API methods).
