This action checks recorded video from a specific camera or group of cameras for the specified period.

To configure this action, do the following:

  1. Configure the conditions to start a macro (see Configuring start conditions).
  2. Select a camera or a group of cameras to check if there is a record in the archive (1).

    Attention!

    If a macro is started by an event from an input or output (see Configuring start conditions) that is not connected to any camera, you need to select a specific camera here. If you select a group of cameras or a camera that initiated the command, the action doesn't start.

  3. Select an archive where you want to check if recorded video is available (2). If you leave the field empty, all recorded video in this camera archives will be checked.
  4. Specify the depth of check (3). The check time period covers: [the time of the action start - (minus) the depth of the check; start time of the action].
  5. Select an action if the archive record for the specified period is found (4).
  6. Select an action if the archive records for the specified period are not found (5).

Note

If E-mail notification is selected as an action, then the text of the message will contain cameras (if a group of cameras was selected), for which there is no record in the archive for the specified period.

You can also use two special purpose templates in the message:

  • {failureRecordCheck}failed check of a record in the archive (format: Server Name|Camera Name|Archive Name);
  • {successRecordCheck}successful check of a record in the archive (format: Server Name|Camera Name|Archive Name).

Attention! For the correct execution of the macro, synchronize the time across all Servers within the Axxon-domain.
