You must fill in the following fields for an archive volume based on the Amazon solution:
- Specify the general parameters for an archive volume (see Creating a cloud archive).
In the Volume region parameter, specify the region of the archive volume storage that is set when you create a cloud storage via Amazon web interface. To reduce delays when writing and reading the archive, it is necessary to specify the nearest region to the Axxon One Server in Amazon web interface. The list of possible regions—ttps://docs.aws.amazon.com/general/latest/gr/rande.html#regional-endpoints
In the Volume bucket name parameter, specify the name of the archive partition in the Amazon S3 (bucket) account. Different volumes can be located in different regions. On the Amazon S3 Server, the volume name must be unique and must be previously created by the user using the following rules to work in Axxon One (see https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS3/latest/userguide/bucketnamingrules.html).
- Specify the access key id. You must sign in to create access keys—https://console.aws.amazon.com/iam/home#/security_credentials$access_key.
Specify the password of the access key.
Note
The password is available after you create an access key.
- In the Volume path parameter, specify the path to the folder of the Axxon One volume inside the partition (bucket).
- If you want to encrypt the archive volume, specify the encryption key in the AES key parameter (see Encrypting a volume of an object archive).
- To test the connection of the archive volume, click the Test connection button.
- Click the Apply button .
